Yokohama Quick and easy things to do Swimming Japan City Beaches Subway International Summer Winter

Yokohama International Swimming Pool

Summer time means trips to the beaches and swims in the ocean, but the Yokohama International Swimming Pool is open all year long. It's also one of the the biggest and most beautiful pool facilities in Japan, and is an internationally approved 50-meter swimming and diving pool.

The Yokohama International Swimming Pool is nicknamed the “Water Arena,” and the main pool is turned into an arena in the winter season. The arena can be used as tennis courts from November to March. The sub pool is a heated pool available all year round.

During winter, the arena is also used by Yokohama's professional basketball team, the Yokohama B-Corsairs.
