Yokohama City Bus in Japan

Since I was born and raised in Yokohama, I can tell you economic ways to use the Yokohama city buses. As a tourist, the best way to ride buses economically would be to purchase a one day pass. These special passes are available for sail on board the bus. A one day pass costs 600 yen in Yokohama. With this pass, you can get on and off as many buses as you want, as long as it is a Yokohama city bus (which pretty much run everywhere in Yokohama city) and it is on that day. Considering that each ride is a set fee of 210 yen, the pass is economical if you plan to ride the bus more than two times.

A more economic option available for families is the family pass. This is only 1000 yen and 5 family members can ride the bus as many times as they want. If you are a family of 5 and all are adults, this pass is economical, even if you only ride the bus once! These sort of great deals are available in Yokohama and I'm sure they are in Tokyo too!
