First coming to Japan as a student around 2007, I have been a Tokyo resident since 2011. A creative jack-of-all-trades, I am a writer/editor, singer, narrator and appear regularly on NHK, Japan’s national broadcaster. I’ve published two guidebooks about the country: The Vegan Guide to Tokyo and Hidden Japan.
I constantly learn from the Japanese saying, “fall down seven times, stand up eight”.
