I once read online that a pro tip to finding a scrumptious meal without having to wait in line in a busy city is dining at upscale hotel restaurants. Visitors (and sometimes locals too) rarely know about them, and hotel guests often choose to eat out, leaving these high-quality spots crowd-free.
If you’re on a budget though, you certainly can’t go wrong with fast-food spots or family restaurants, but hotel dining is usually way classier–perfect for special occasions. One of my family’s favorites is the InterContinental Yokohama Grand, offering a range of restaurants, including Chinese and French.
