At the Night View Summit in 2012, Nagasaki’s cityscape under the moon was certified as one of the world’s top three alongside Hong Kong and Monaco. Also ranked one of the three best night views in Japan, Nagasaki offers panoramic views of the sparkling city from a variety of elevated viewpoints including Mt. Inasa. With the warm-colored lights of homes and roads encircling the glassy water of Nagasaki Bay, visitors have described the night viewing experience as “seeing the night sky reflected in a mirror”.
