Japan travel tip for charging your devices

If your phone runs out of battery while you’re on the go in Japan, don’t worry! Cafes like Starbucks, Tully’s, Doutour, and even McDonald’s often have free plugs for you to use. It’s not always the case though, so I recommend asking the staff as soon as you arrive. If they do have plugs, hooray! But always order something–even if it’s not store policy, it’s common courtesy.

You can also purchase a portable battery at any convenience store to keep your devices charged throughout the day, worry-free.
