The Enoden runs between Kamakura Station and Fujisawa Station. The perfect day trip from Tokyo
Both of the Enoden’s terminals have great access to Tokyo, making the Enoden and its environs a popular day trip from the big city. Fujisawa Station is just under an hour from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo on either the Odakyu or Shonan-Shinjuku lines, while Kamakura Station is about an hour from Tokyo Station on the Yokosuka Line or from Shinjuku Station on the Shonan-Shinjuku Line.
Enoshima Station on the Enoden will pop you out near Enoshima, one of the main sightseeing spots in the area and which boasts a shrine, restaurants, caves, and fabulous views.
Meanwhile, Kamakura is another popular destination city packed with history and sights, including the famous Great Buddha statue at Kotoku-in Temple.
Aside from the above, you are sure to find cozy cafes and pictureque views even if you hop off at an Enoden station at random and explore.
